Travel Videos

Travel by armchair from the Library meeting room. All are welcome to attend to watch a travel video and enjoy refreshments afterward, at no charge.
"Issues & Viewpoints" Book Discussion Group
2nd Friday of the Month* 1pm-3pm

All are invited to read the monthly title of current interest chosen by the group and participate in the discussion, exchange of ideas and opinions about the book moderated by Phil Garner and John Beecroft. This group will not meet in December or January.
Yoga
Fridays* 5pm-6pm

Try instructor Tony Khayat’s stretching and breathing exercises to improve your general health. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat. A donation of $2 to the Library is suggested.
Library Exhibits
The Library offers exhibits in the glass display case near the circulation desk which change monthly. Enjoy viewing exhibits from area collectors which have included Civil War and World War II memorabilia; minerals, fossils and geodes; stamp collections; and Marilyn Monroe collectibles.

Friends of the Baxter County Library (FOL)
4th Wednesday of the Month* 1:30pm-3:00pm

Join Friends each month September through May for a short business meeting and a program we hope you’ll find interesting, informative and fun, followed by refreshments. FOL develops public awareness and support for the Library through community outreach and fundraisers. Yearly membership is $5 and due in September.

Advocates for the Elderly Meeting and Program
