Lincolns for the Library
Over 120 years ago, school children across America collected their pennies to raise money for the Statue of Liberty pedestal. Today, the students of Baxter County can make a difference by collecting spare change in support of their new, Public Library.
With around $400,000 left to go, the Baxter County Public Library Foundation is in the home stretch of a Capital Campaign to raise $2 million, which must be raised prior to occupying the new building. Construction on the building is expected to be complete summer 2010.
