The Library Foundation has been awarded a Capital Grant by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation (DWRF) to construct a new library facility on Library Hill at the intersection of Highway 201 South and the Sheid-Hopper Bypass. The grant will build, furnish, and equip a new 35,500 square foot facility.
As part of the grant award, the Library Foundation must raise approximately 20 percent, or $2 million, for an endowment for programming in the new facility. When funded, the Reynolds Foundation will match that endowment dollar for dollar for operations.
That results in a six to one match: for every one dollar raised in the community, Reynolds will match it with six dollars.

Ways to Invest in the Library Foundation’s Capital Campaign include:
Cash Donations: can be made in person at the Library, or by contacting the Foundation office at 870.508.5349 or email foundation@baxtercountylibrary.org, or online through PayPal.
Stock or Land Donations: can be transferred directly to the Library Foundation (no need to sell the asset and pay a capital gains tax before donating the proceeds). Instead you get the charitable write off for the appreciated value of the donated asset and pay no capital gains tax.
Planned Giving: Your planned gift or bequest will help sustain this community resource for future generations.
Tax Relief: Consider an end of the year gift of stock or other funds when reviewing your taxable assets.
Friends of the Library: Join the Friends for only $5.00 per year and enjoy monthly meetings, special trips and the quarterly book sales.

The Baxter County Public Library Foundation (BCPLF), also known as the Library Foundation, is an Arkansas not-for-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) tax deductible charitable foundation. The Library Foundation raises funds which support the programs and activities of the Baxter County Library through special events, planned giving, bequests, and special campaigns.
