Baxter County Library Volunteers
A Testimonial from Sue Kilton, Library Circulation Volunteer: I am at the library as a volunteer almost every Wenesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. I have experienced the library as a source for information communication, social interaction and instruction. It is my privilege to live in a community where the library staff works to meet the needs of the community.
Volunteers: The Library Needs You!
There are many benefits to volunteering. Some of which are learning new skills, giving back to the community, enjoying the appreciation of staff and patrons, and meeting new people. The volunteer program seeks to provide opportunities for volunteers to actively participate in and make a meaningful contribution to the operations of the library. Our goal is to match a volunteer’s skills, interests, and schedule with the Library’s needs. We want your volunteer experience to be a positive and pleasant experience.
