Junior Auxiliary of Mountain Home Scholarship Fund Selection Criteria

1. Must be pursuing studies in fields which address the needs of children and youth. Examples include, but are not limited to, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Exceptional Children, Remedial Skills Development, Deaf Education, Hearing Impaired, Gifted and Talented, ~~c. The scholarship committee reserves the right to determine if the applicant's area of study qualifies them for the Junior Auxiliary of Mountain Home Scholarship.

2. MinimumGPA-3.0

3. Financial Need

4. Community Service

5. Must be a student graduating from high school in the current year. ,

6. Include a letter of recommendation. This cannot be a family member. A teacher, youth director, or employer would be appropriate.

7. Include a photo for publication in the local newspapers.

8. Application must be completely filled out.
