Teen Library Council

The TLC is committed to making the Library a great place for teens! Our mission is to help the library develop resources, services & events to fulfill teens' needs & interests and to promote the library to teens & the community.  *TLC Members are selected by an application and interview process each fall.*

What we do...

• Plan Teen Special Events
• Help choose books, audio books, movies, and music for the teen section
• Write reviews of books, music & movies
• Promote the library as a great place for teens
• Strive to make the Library effective and appealing for teens

Applications for the Teen Library Council are accepted through the end of August each year.  Applications can be picked up at the teen desk.

 

Teen Tuesday

Teen Tuesday is an event open to any teen held the fourth Tuesday of each month.  Teens can come enjoy a different theme each month complete with food and an activity or movie!

 

Teen Anime Club

Meet with other anime fans for Anime and Manga discussion, art, and games.  Help plan our annual Anime Mini-Con and more!  Anime Club meets the second Tuesday of each month from 5-6:30 pm and all teens ages 12 to 18 are invited.

Targeted Tutoring

Junior high and high school students can receive one-on-one tutoring at the library in a variety of subjects at no charge.
