The Baxter County Library will be hosting a community-wide conversation on conquering COVID-19 and retiree inclusion on Friday, February 26 at 11:00 AM via Zoom. The goal of the conversation is to bring our community together to find out how we are addressing the needs of our retirement population during COVID. The public is invited to watch the conversation featuring a panel of local community partners followed by a Q&A, if time allows.
Community conversation partners include the Ozark Center of Hope, Sycamore Springs Senior Living, Kindness, Inc., the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, and ASUMH.
The Baxter County Library has been selected as one of 200 libraries to participate in Libraries Transforming Communities: Focus on Small and Rural Libraries, an American Library Association (ALA) initiative that helps library workers better serve their small and rural communities.
