The steps to get a Baxter County Library card are as follows:
1. Fill out the Online Library Card Application through the link below.
2. Once you have submitted your application, you will need to come into the Library at 300 Library Hill in Mountain Home, AR. You must present a valid photo ID and proof of address. Driver’s license, utility bills, voter ID, and printed checks are common forms of ID.
3. Once ID and proof of address have been shown and a few questions have been asked, you will receive your card.
Note: If you live outside of Baxter County, AR, there will be a $30 fee per household per year. The fee covers all regular and special collections checkouts, and program sign-ups. The fee does not cover FASTRACK checkouts or any late fees that might incur.
