THE MARCH BLOOD DRIVE IS SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 29th FROM 9:30 TO 1:30. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ON THE 29th.
Current Status: Blood Crisis!
The Red Cross is experiencing the worst blood shortage in over a decade.
Linked is a story that CBS aired about the Red Cross announcing a national blood supply CRISIS. Doctors are having to choose between 2 patients; who receives blood and who has to wait. Please watch this video if you would like to learn more.
How do I register?
Click here to register online to give blood.
We recommend registering to save your spot and limit wait time. Walk-Ins are always welcome. The Blood Drives will be in the Knox Community Rooms.
Give blood during any of the five blood drives at the Baxter County Library in 2022 and receive a credit to forgive up to $25 in Library fines per donation.
Important Information to Note:
Up to $25 per blood donation
Receive a credit up to 5 times (max. $125 / $25 for each blood donation at the Library).
Make sure to keep your ticket given to you at time of donation. This ticket will be turned in to the Circulation Desk in exchange for a fine credit.
Only the fines currently accrued on your account may be forgiven. This does not apply to any future fines.
Credit expires 1 week after donation was given. We recommend using it right away so nothing is lost.
Donors can “pay it forward” to help a friend or stranger
Donors can split payment between 2 accounts only (ex. $10 on your account, $15 on another)
Credits only apply when blood is donated at the Library blood drives.
With any questions about Fine Forgiveness, please contact the Baxter County Library at (870) 580-0987 and press 1.
With any question about Blood Drive logistics or for help with signing up, please contact Jamie Hunter at (479) 957-8109 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
