Learn About Volunteering at the Library

Volunteers are the cornerstone of the Library. They are retirees, students, working professionals, parents, and grandparents. All share a love of the Library and a desire to serve. We offer many volunteer opportunities, from shelving books to helping patrons with computers to hosting special events.

We aim to match a volunteer’s skills, interests, and schedule with the Library’s needs. We want you to enjoy your volunteer experience. Please look at our Volunteer Handbook below to learn more.

Then:

  • Fill out a Volunteer Application.
  • Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator to match your interests, skills, and schedule with our volunteer opportunities.
  • Attend volunteer orientation and training sessions.
  • Get to work and have fun!
