It is time to look up. We will meet in the staff parking lot and check out the stars. Jeff Hoeper with the Arkansas Natural Sky Association will guide us as we use telescopes to look at Saturn and other planets, find stars, and check out other celestial phenomena as the weather and light pollution allows.
Feel free to bring binoculars and lawn chairs, dress for the weather, and come gaze at the stars with us.
The library will be closed during the star party, so please make sure you use the restrooms before the the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County closes.
Don't forget to register for the Saturn presentation at 4:00 to learn more about Saturn and why its rings seem to be gone.
