Event Details

Enjoy a summer mix of familiar tunes, including pop, soft-rock, and some country, performed by husband and wife duo The Duncans.  Bookworms Cafe at the Library will be open on concert nights 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Concert starts at 7:00pm.

Garrett Duncan is expanding his horizon and approaching the beginning of the next phase of his musical journey. Garrett is the third generation to be involved in the music business. His grandfather, the late Johnny Duncan, was a musician and vocalist on the Gene Williams Show, and his father, James Duncan, was the manager for Sammy Kershaw. Garrett began learning to play the guitar at age seven. He was inspired, taught, and encouraged by Dennis Horton.

Garrett is now married to his music duo partner Ashton. Ashton has only recently started singing locally within the past few years. Growing up, Ashton sang in her church and as much as anyone would let her in her home. Ashton was in the worship band when she attended Williams Baptist University, and she’s now excited to be playing more music with her husband.

The Duncans play a wide variety of music, spanning anywhere from the Beatles to Greenday. No matter who you are, they’re sure to have something you’ll love.
