This is a time for caregivers and babies birth through 18 months to enjoy time together learning and playing.

Read and discuss books, discuss movies, celebrate together, and have fun!

Designated for Grades 4-6.

Enjoy reading, singing, and having fun!

On Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00PM, the Baxter County Library is offering after-school meals for students 18 and younger. After-school meals are offered at no cost to the student/family, and are served in the downstairs multi-purpose room.

Learn about the Pros and Cons of popular egg preservation techniques.  We will start with Water Glassing including a demonstration and discussion of its benefits and risks followed by freezing, and pickling.

Coloring is an excellent way to slow down and de-stress.  Bring your own supplies or choose from a variety of coloring pages and supplies available at the library.

Ages 3 -5

Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and fun activities that encourage development of Early Literacy skills in young children. 

Lens on Literature is the Library’s new nonfiction book club, designed for readers who enjoy exploring real stories, big ideas, and compelling histories—without debate or pressure.

All teens, grades 7-12, are welcome to enjoy Friday After Hours.

Join us on the second Tuesday of each month at Rapp's Barren Brewing Company for an evening of literary enrichment at Ales & Tales.

If you love Cozy Mysteries this Cozy Book Club is for you.  Have some tea or coffee and join a friendly book discussion about the Cozy Mystery of the month. 

A volunteer group for teens interested in community service and helping to improve the experience of teens at the Library.

May 15th is National Pizza Party Day!  LeeAnn Blevins with the Baxter County Extension Office will join us to prepare us to celebrate by teaching us to make sourdough pizza crust with your sourdough starter.
