Coloring is an excellent way to slow down and de-stress.  Bring your own supplies or choose from a variety of coloring pages and supplies available at the library.

Learn how to use the Library's scanner to digitize your family photos and documents. Please bring a flash drive. Meet at the public scanner by the reference desk.

This is a time for caregivers and babies birth through 18 months to enjoy time together learning and playing.

Ages 3 -5

Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and fun activities that encourage development of Early Literacy skills in young children. 

Channel your favorite archer, Robin Hood, William Tell, or Katniss Everdeen and join us for Archery with Brad Savage from Arkansas Fish and Game. He will go over safety and teach you how to use a bow.

Bring the whole family for a mixture of crafts, archery (registration required), storytime, calligraphy, spinning demos (drop spindle), and a treasure hunt worthy of legend! Dress in family friendly period clothing or casual. 

On Tuesdays from 3:00-4:00PM, the Baxter County Library is offering after-school meals for students 18 and younger. After-school meals are offered at no cost to the student/family, and are served in the downstairs multi-purpose room.

Read and discuss books, discuss movies, celebrate together, and have fun!

An easy-going book club that reads mostly fictional titles featuring romance and mysteries with some biographies thrown in!  Join us on Zoom or at the Library for All Booked - one of our two Library book clubs! Everyone is welcome!
