Baxter County Library Has Teamed Up with Area Food Bank to Distribute Fall Meals to Kids

The Baxter County Library is now distributing fall meals to kids and teens, every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. To-go meals are offered to students 18 years and younger at no cost, and can be picked up in the Library foyer. Children can receive one meal every Tuesday and Thursday. The child must be present with a parent the first time of pick-up. Parents can then sign a waiver to pick up subsequent meals without a child. Staff are taking necessary precautions wearing masks, gloves, and disinfecting surfaces before and after distributing meals. This program is a community collaboration with the North Central Arkansas Food Bank. Meal distributions at the Library will run through December 29.
