The Friends of the Library, a major fund-raising body for the Baxter County Library, is hosting their Silent Auction starting Wednesday, March 30, and running through April 27th in the Library foyer. Silent auction items include jewelry, art, crystal, NASA signed items, and more.
The Baxter County Early Literacy Project recently reported outstanding year-end numbers for the Little Free Library program. In 2021, a total of 1,601 children’s books were distributed free of charge through the Project’s bright yellow little libraries strategically placed throughout Baxter County.
