Big Tent at the Library for Outdoor Summer Programming

The Baxter County Library has just installed a heavy duty, commercial grade 20’x40’ tent on the Library lawn. The Library plans to keep the tent up throughout the summer for outdoor summer programming and Library Foundation Events. The X-series tent has collapsible walls for shade to make patrons more comfortable while outside in the summer heat.  The tent was purchased with American Rescue Plan Act funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act Grants to States program and administered by the Arkansas State Library.

The Library would also like to thank the Ozark Center of Hope for donating a 30” barrel fan to use outside with the tent.
