Friends of the Library Silent Auction

The Friends of the Library, a major fund-raising body for the Baxter County Library, is hosting their Silent Auction starting Wednesday, March 30, and running through April 27th in the Library foyer.  Silent auction items include jewelry, art, crystal, NASA signed items, and more.

To place a bid in the Silent Auction, stop by the Library to take a look at the items on display in the glass case near the entrance, and then mark your bid in the Silent Auction bidding book. All bids must be in the bidding book by 1 pm on April 27th. Winning bidders will be notified by phone or email in a timely manner. All items need to be paid for and picked up from the Library’s main desk by May 14th.

There will also be a Live Auction held by the Friends on Wednesday, April 27th, beginning at 1:30 pm shortly after the silent auction ends.  The live auction will have many more items up for bid.  Both silent and live auctions are open to the public.

Show your support for the Baxter County Library and the Friends of the Library by bidding on some unique, donated items. Support from the Friends of the Library helps make the Library’s current and future programming possible. Visit baxlib.org or call at 870-580-0987 for more information.
