New Library Technology Classes in 2021

The Baxter County Library is starting out the new year with fresh virtual technology classes for those who need help with using Library resources and more.

If you need help downloading eBooks or eAudiobooks, Library2Go one-on-one help over the phone will be available starting in January by appointment. Every Monday at 10:30am, get help with Apple devices, every Wednesday at 3:30pm get help with Android devices, and every Saturday at 4:00pm get help with any other device that you need. Knowledgeable Library staff will be able to help you with any questions you might have about downloading eBooks, accessing the Library2Go catalog on the Library website, or using the handy Libby app. Registration is required so remember to register in advance on baxlib.org/events to reserve a time slot for your preferred device or call the Library at 870-580-0987.

Technology Classes are also going virtual in 2021. This spring, you can take a class to learn how to use Google Photos on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:30am, or learn how to detect fake emails and news on Thursday, February 18 or March 11 at 10:30am. Register on baxlib.org/events to receive the Zoom link to join.

Watch for other virtual classes such as crafting classes, genealogy classes, book clubs, storytimes, and more. Lots of exciting programming is coming in 2021, so be sure to keep an eye on the Library’s calendar at baxlib.org or pick up a program guide at the Library for all of the latest and greatest activities.
