Virtual Anime Mini-Con

Like-minded fans will gather virtually on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 4-6pm to celebrate their passion for Japanese animation, comics, cosplay, and art. Attendees of the mini-convention will enjoy fun games, themed quizzes, and a fan chit-chat.  They will also be creating three kawaii crafts based on some of Studio Ghibli’s iconic characters. The Soot Sprites from “Spirited Away”, Calcifer from “Howl’s Moving Castle”, and Totoro from “My Neighbor Totoro”.

Teens in grades 7th – 12th are eligible to participate. Save your spot for the Zoom event by registering online at baxlib.org/events. Before the event, registrants can stop by the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County to receive the needed supplies for all three crafts. Contact Tori at tori.r@baxlib.org for additional info.
