Library lovers can wrap the year up with a special year-end gift to the Library, during the Baxter County Library Foundation’s Wrap It Up fundraising campaign, rolled out this week. Gifts received before December 31st will be doubled up to $24,000 thanks to matching-gift sponsors.
This year’s COVID pandemic resulted in significantly reduced funding for the Library. The Library relies heavily on support from the Library Foundation, which provides approximately 30% of the Library’s operating revenue each year. Donations to the Library Foundation will help the Library continue to provide vital programs and services such as online tutoring to the struggling student, programs to give children a head start in school, and virtual programming that connects our community during these isolating times, just to name a few.
